Digital Wellbeing Coach

Rachel Hammond

“Rachel has transformed my relationship with technology and given me back at least 8 hours a week. She showed me how to have  stronger boundaries, which has taken a lot of day-to-day stress away”

With a unique blend of skills in marketing, digital training, education and journalism Rachel has carved a niche that perfectly marries her love of technology and human connection.

The embryonic technologies she wrote about nearly 30 years ago are a key part of her success as a marketer today and she has a deep understanding of the digital world, and its implications on our lives. As a marketer, she knows how palm-sized technology has changed the way humans communicate and seek connection. And she has seen first-hand the damaging effects of overuse of technology, especially for personal brand growth or marketing activities.

Recognising the challenges that come with our digital age, Rachel now offers digital wellbeing programs and teaches these skills alongside marketing agency and training services. In this role, clients are guided to create a balanced relationship with technology, using it to their advantage while advocating a right to privacy, boundaries and to replace doom scrolling with intentional, purposeful use.

Rachel's programmes for teenagers, families and graduates focus on social media, LinkedIn and the value of boundaries and privacy and how to use digital messaging for stress free communication - for business comms, team talk and family communication.

Digital wellbeing training is essential to young adults and children as it gives them skills to navigate the digital world responsibly and safely. It promotes healthy habits like managing screen time, avoiding distractions and resisting practices that sap productivity and creativity. Above all, she cultivates a mindset that we have a right to maintain this balance and champions a message that humans have the power to control the tech in our hands, and the times when we feel the balance is wrong, are the very times to switch it off.

A holistic approach ensures that digital tools are integrated seamlessly into personal and professional lives, enhancing productivity, reducing stress, and improving overall quality of life.  Rachel continues to innovate and adapt her approach to meet the evolving digital landscape and the unique needs of the businesses, young people and families who she works with.
